Ingredients

Servings: 24
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 1/2 packs Baking Powder
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 150 g Butter
  • 100 g flaked almonds
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

  1. 1

For the dough, mix flour, baking powder, 125 g sugar, vanillin sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Add milk, oil, egg and quark and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough.

  2. 2

Roll out the dough on a greased baking tray (32 x 39 cm), press the corners with floured hands. Press many hollows into the cake with your fingers. Spread butter in flakes. Sprinkle evenly with flaked almonds and 100 g sugar.

  3. 3

Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a cake rack. Tastes very good even when lukewarm. Whipped cream tastes good with it.
