  • 1 kg Brussels sprouts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 75 g streaky smoked bacon

Directions

    Clean the Brussels sprouts, carve them crosswise on the stalk and wash them. Cook in little boiling salted water at medium heat for 18-20 minutes. In the meantime, finely dice the bacon and leave it out in a pan without fat. Drain the brussels sprouts, let them drip off and toss them in the bacon

    There are several ways to serve Brussels sprouts. For example, tossed in butter with parsley, in butter with flaked almonds, in butter with fried onions, in butter with breadcrumbs
