Clean the Brussels sprouts, carve them crosswise on the stalk and wash them. Cook in little boiling salted water at medium heat for 18-20 minutes. In the meantime, finely dice the bacon and leave it out in a pan without fat. Drain the brussels sprouts, let them drip off and toss them in the bacon
