Cream fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Mix flour, cornstarch and baking powder and stir into the mixture. Grease a box form (25 cm long, 1.75 litres capacity) and dust with flour. Pour in the dough, spread all but 3 bounties on the dough and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 50 minutes. Let the cake rest in the pan for about 10 minutes.
Turn out onto a cake rack and let it cool down. Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and carefully melt over a hot water bath. Cover the cake with the chocolate coating. Allow to dry a little and sprinkle with coconut flakes. Leave to dry. Cut the bounties into pieces and decorate the cake with them
