Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 glass (370 ml) Cherries
  • 1 coated Tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 coated tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 16 (80 g) Marshmallows
  • 75 g Dark chocolate
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint
  • 8 wooden skewers

Directions

  1. 1

Drain the cherries and collect the juice. Stir 2 tablespoons of juice and starch until smooth. Boil up the rest of the cherry juice. Stir in sugar and starch and bring to the boil again. Fold in the cherries and let them cool down

  2. 2

Peel the banana, cut it into 8 thick slices and immediately sprinkle with lemon juice. Put 2 marshmallows and 1 banana slice each on a skewer

  3. 3

Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a hot water bath. Dip the skewers either lengthwise 1/3 into the chocolate or decorate with chocolate strips. Allow to set. Serve with cherries and decorate with mint

  4. 4

For a cheerful children's party: instead of the round marshmallows, stick white mice or colourful animals made of foam sugar on the skewers. If you don't want to melt extra chocolate, you can also simply drizzle ready-made chocolate sauce over the skewers
