Baked apple domino cake

Ingredients

  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 150 g Dominos
  • 7 small apples (about 120 g each)
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 8 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 4 TABLESPOONS thickened wild cranberries (from the glass)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and flour

Directions

    Cut the fat into pieces. Take 3 dominos aside and chop the rest roughly. Wash apples, grate dry and cut out the core. Cream fat, vanilla sugar and sugar. Stir in eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the milk. Grease a springform pan (26 cm Ø) and sprinkle with flour.

    Fill the dough into the springform pan and smooth it down. Fill apples with dominoes and press them into the dough. Bake the cake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 45 minutes. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down for about 15 minutes. Remove the cake from the tin and press the Domino filling that has run out back into the apples. Dust the cooled down cake with icing sugar and put about 1/2 teaspoon cranberries on each apple. Halve 3 dominoes diagonally and decorate the cake with them
