Peel and cut the apple into small pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice, stir the fat, 150 g sugar and vanillin sugar until foamy. Stir the eggs into the sugar mixture. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in. Stir in apple pieces and pistachios. Grease a box form (25 cm long) and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Fill in the dough and smooth it down.
Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ gas: level 2/ convection oven: 150 °C) for 50-60 minutes. Remove the cake, let it rest for a while and remove from the tin. Let the apple-pistachio cake cool down. Cover the cake with wafer-thin apple slices and spread with warmed apple jelly. Dust with icing sugar
