Ingredients

  • 500 g sour apples
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 100 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 125 g soft butter/margarine
  • 125 g + 1-2 Tbsp Zucker
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3-4 Drops of bitter almond aroma
  • 3 Eggs (Gr. M)
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 knife tip Cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon sugar and icing sugar

    Peel, quarter and core the apples, cut into slices and mix with lemon juice

    Grease a tart mould (26 cm Ø; approx. 3 cm high) or springform pan (26 cm Ø). Coarsely grate marzipan. Cream 125 g fat, marzipan flakes, 125 g sugar, vanillin sugar, 1 pinch of salt and flavour. Stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour and baking powder and stir in briefly. Spread into the mould

    Dab the apple slices dry and spread them close together on the dough. Mix 1-2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on the cake. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for about 35 minutes. Let it cool down. Decorate with cinnamon sugar and icing sugar
