Ingredients

  • 200 g Butter
  • 550 g gluten-free flour composition for sweet pastries
  • 225 g + 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 150 g ground almonds without skin
  • 1.2 kg sour apples (e.g. Boskop)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 150 g Low-fat curd
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS ground cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

    For the crumbles melt butter and let it cool down. Put 250 g flour, 150 g sugar, almonds and melted butter into a mixing bowl and knead into crumbles with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Chill for about 30 minutes

    In the meantime wash, peel and quarter the apples and cut out the core. Cut the apple quarters into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice

    Mix curd, milk, oil, 75 g sugar and salt. Mix 300 g flour and baking powder and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Continue kneading with your hands to a smooth dough. Roll out the dough thinly on a greased baking tray (approx. 32 x 39 cm) and cover with apples. Mix 5 tbsp. sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle on apples. Sprinkle crumbles over the top and bake in the preheated oven (electric: 200 °C / gas: level 3) for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool and cut into approx. 24 pieces
