Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 3 TSP Baking Powder
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 3 Apples
  • 200 g Breakfast bacon in slices
  • 4 TSP clarified butter

Directions

  1. 1

Mix flour, salt, nutmeg and baking powder in a bowl. Add approx. 300 ml water and mix to a thick dough. Stir in eggs one after the other. Wash apples, quarter and core them, cut into slices. Halve bacon

  2. 2

Heat 1 tsp. clarified butter in a frying pan (approx. 20 cm Ø). Fry less than about 1/4 of the bacon and apples briefly in it. Spread about 1/4 of the dough on top and let it fry at a mild heat. When the dough has set and the underside is golden brown, turn the pancakes with the help of a plate and bake them from the other side until golden brown. Remove the pancakes and keep warm

  3. 3

Process the remaining ingredients in the same way and bake 4 pancakes in total. Fry the remaining apple slices and bacon slices in the pan. Spread on the pancakes. Serve with sugar beet syrup
