Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 250 g Flour
  • 100 g Butter or margarine
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 1 kg sour apples
  • 1/2 l apple juice
  • 2 packages Pudding powder "Vanilla Flavor"
  • 1/2 l semi-dry white wine
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 100 ml Egg liqueur
  • 1 Freezer bag

Directions

  1. 1

Add the flour, fat, sugar, egg, baking powder and 2 tablespoons of cold water with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. In the meantime, wash, peel, quarter and core apples.

  2. 2

Carve the apple quarter lengthwise on the curved side with a fork. Roll out the dough to a circle (approx. 38 cm Ø). Line a greased springform pan (28 cm Ø) with the dough and press on the edge.

  3. 3

Spread the apples with the convex side facing upwards. Mix 4 tablespoons apple juice and pudding powder. Boil up the rest of the apple juice, white wine, sugar and vanillin sugar. Stir in the pudding powder and bring to the boil again.

  4. 4

Pour over the apples while still hot and bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 1 hour. Leave the cake to set overnight in the refrigerator. Whip the cream until stiff and spread it cloudy on the cake with a tablespoon.

  5. 5

Pour the advocaat into a freezer bag. Cut off a tip of the bag a little bit, pull the advocaat as threads over the cake. Makes 12 pieces.
