Chopping skewers with banana dip

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 can(s) (212 g; drained weight 140 g) Vegetable maize
  • 1 small onion
  • 125 g red pepper
  • 450 g mixed minced meat
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Bananas
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 250 g Salad cream
  • 200 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS + something to dust Curry powder
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley and mint

Directions

    Drain the corn. Peel and finely chop the onion. Clean, wash and chop the peppers. Knead minced meat with breadcrumbs, egg, corn, onion and paprika. Season with salt and pepper. Form 12 longish meatballs and put them on 1 wooden skewer each

    Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the skewers in portions all around. Take them out and put them into an ovenproof dish. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 15 minutes

    In the meantime peel bananas. Cut 1/2 banana into slices. Chop the rest of the bananas. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix banana cubes with salad cream, yoghurt and curry. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the skewers and serve garnished with parsley. Garnish banana dip with banana slices and mint. Dust with some curry powder and serve with the skewers
